What is ACA certification? An Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) credential certifies that individuals have the entry-level skills to plan, design, build and maintain effective communications using different forms of digital media. There are three Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) exams available — for individuals and for schools.

To pass an ACA exam you need to develop a study schedule: 1. Set your priorities. 2. Choose a regular study time and set a reminder. 3. Decide which exam objectives to study first. 4. Finish studying one objective before moving on. 5. Eliminate a distractions, focus more on studying. 6. Find a study partner. 7. Avoid cramming. 8. Get enough sleep otherwise you will be less motivated and more easily distracted.

The experience of ACA testing: Get there on time—Bring you photo ID and voucher—Memorize your Certiport login—Don’t bring anything into the testing room—Place belongings in a locker.Obey the discipline.

After you pass the ACA exam you can participate the ACA world championships (ONLY FOR STUDENTS 13-22 YEARS OLD). You will be assessed from Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign. You will be awarded if you achieve the first/second/third/fourth-tenth scholarship.

To choose images for a website we need to think about the purpose of images and the audience of images: 1.To convey information and data. 2.Promote learning and understanding. 3.Commercial uses: advertising and packaging. So need to be attractive. 4.Try to infer as much as possible about the audience. 5.Audience needs guide design choices. 6.Context is also important.

About Digital images

Two types of digital images: raster and vector

Raster images have resolution. Resolution is a measure of density of pixels in a raster image. Raster image formats include JPG, PNG, GIF, TIFF and PSD or native Photoshop files. PSD files can contain both raster and vector information.

Understand of Photoshop

It’s my first time to use Photoshop. I put five pictures together and made a poster. I learned what is layer and how to do a cutout. Except these basic skills we can use Photoshop to do a lot of things for example, adjusting the shape or color of image.
